L'exposition collective "body no / body" est une proposition de Bertrand Grimont et Samy da Silva qui explore une part de territoire et de mythe liés à certaines représentations du corps humain dans les pratiques contemporaines, avec un cycle de vidéos et des pièces visuelles qui rendent compte du corps comme assemblage, comme dispositif où l'imaginaire construit des signaux et où l'expérience et le mythe sont producteurs de formes.
Trois thèmes principaux sont approchés: l'intériorité, l'imagination et le corps lui-même comme récepteur et émetteur de signes.
Ne cherchant à "épuiser" ni l'espace de ces thèmes, ni celui de la galerie, le projet tend à favoriser la vibration spécifique des oeuvres plastiques en relation avec celles des oeuvres vidéos, quelque chose dans ce tremblement subtil de l'air devient favorable à un réseau. Là où l'immobilité des oeuvres accrochées ou posées induirait une mobilité intérieure, et où les images animées susciteraient une pause, un quant-à-soi. Un territoire ouvrant sur l'imaginaire où la matière des oeuvres s'active dans l'intériorité du visiteur, chaque fois remise en jeu, particules élémentaires et complexes, présentes et absentes, simultanément.
La galerie, ici, devient un corps qui répond à la présence des oeuvres comme un environnement favorable qui suscite des formes de vie, dans ses cycles, ses émergences, luxuriance et rareté, souterrains et canopées, vers une constellation: le corps humain.

/ The group show "body no / body" is a proposal by Bertrand Grimont and Samy da Silva, which explores parts of a territory and myth associated with certain representations of the human body in contemporary practices. With a cycle of videos and visual pieces that reflect the body as assemblage, as a device where the imagination constructs signals and where the experience and the myth produce forms. Three main themes are approached: interiority, imagination and the body itself as a receiver and transmitter signs.
Not seeking to "exhaust" neither the space of these themes, nor the gallery's, the project aims to promote the specific vibration of the visual pieces in conjunction with those of video works, something in this subtle vibration of the air becomes conducive to a network. Where the stillness of the pieces hung or set on the floor induce an internal mobility, and where the moving images would generate a break, an inner quieteness. A territory opening on the imaginary where the very matter of the works gets activated in the visitor's interiority, each time recombined, elementary and complex particles, both present and absent.
The gallery here becomes a body that responds to the presence of the works as a supportive environment that gives rise to forms of life, its cycles, its becomings, opulence and rarity, roots and canopies, to a constellation: the human body.
